Billie Jo Sennett, age 39, passed away unexpectedly October 8, 2018, in
Richmond, Virginia. She was born September 8, 1979 in Canandaigua, New York
to James A. and Beatrice M. (Teeter) Peterson. Billie Jo graduated from Tokay
High School in 1997 and San Joaquin Delta College in 2002 with a degree in
nursing. She worked as the activity director at Chancellor Place in Lodi, California.
In eighth grade she met Shane Patrick Sennett who became the love of her life.
October 15, 2004 Shane proposed to Billie Jo and they were married June 15, 2006
in Lodi, California.
Billie Jo was a loving wife to Shane and devoted mother to her children. She
always had laughter and love to share and didn’t know any strangers. Billie Jo was
fierce in her convictions, loyal and always there for family and friends. Her
interests and hobbies were scrapbooking, photography and involvement with
Autism Speaks.
Billie Jo is preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice M. (Teeter) Peterson. She is
survived by her husband, Shane Patrick Sennett; children, Benjamin, Kayleb, S.J.,
Taylor and Courtney; father James A. Peterson; step-mother Teresa M. (Roykouff)
Peterson; sister Cory Anne Peterson; brother Christopher L. Barnes; paternal
grandmother Rose E. (Gilbert) Peterson; aunts Donna Peterson-McAninch, and
Sandra (Alex) Peterson; niece Tiara Rose Meyers; and cousin Jesse Peterson.
Friends and family visitation is at 10:00 a.m. with service following at 11:00 a.m.
at Concord Baptist Church in Farmville, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, please donate
