Cassie Dickinson

Cassie Murphy Jarrett Dickinson, 83, of Richmond, died May 24, 2010 in Richmond.
She was the widow of Sammy Lynn Jarrett and John G. Dickinson

She was born in Buckingham, February 16, 1927 to the late Joshua and Hattie Lonzie Goin Murphy Wright. She retired from quality control with Wang Computers and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Surviving are her three children: Sammy Lynn Jarrett, Jr. (Clara) of Cedar Hills, TX, Jennifer Lee Jarrett of Richmond and John Garfield Dickinson, Jr. (Maria) of Pinang, Malaysia, three siblings: Florence W. Shepherd and Wilbur H. Wright both of Richmond and Margaret W. Hall of Brentwood, TN, 5 Grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 am Thursday in Westhunt Baptist Church, Richmond with a graveside service following at 2:00 pm in Westview Cemetery, Farmville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westhunt Baptist Church, 3801 West End Drive, Richmond, VA 23294.
