Charles Fox

Mr. Charles E. Fox, Sr., age 75 of Buckingham, Virginia passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 in Farmville, Virginia.

He is survived by his wife Betty Jane Vanderpool of Buckingham; his children, Charles E. Fox, Jr. and wife Vanessa of Forest, Matthew L. Fox and wife, Denise of Farmville and Cheryl F. Davis of Buckingham; his grandchildren, David Fox, Olivia Fox, Cameron Fox, Kelly Fox, Dillon Fox, Casey Fox, Cody Davis and Brent Davis; his step-children Fred Asal and wife Shelby of Farmville, Philip W. Asal and wife Becky of Cumberland and Theresa Chapman of Cumberland; six step-grandchildren, and nine step-great-grandchildren.


Funeral service will be conducted ate 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in the chapel of Shorter Fu8neral Home of Farmville. Interment will follow in trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dillwyn Volunteer Fire Department or the Alzheimer's Association.
