Daisy Swink

Daisy Hall Swink, age 88, of Farmville, VA passed away on June 8, 2013.
She was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on October 13, 1924 to the late Janie Lambert Hall and Johnnie E Hall. Daisy Swink was married to the late Earl L. Swink Sr. and worked as a sales manager over the years with W.T. Grant, Ben Franklin, Leggett’s and Belk.

She is survived by a son; Earl L. Swink Jr (Carol Ann) of Prospect, VA, two brothers; Frank R. Hall and John Eddie Hall (Hilda) of Lacrosse, VA, two sisters; Mary Frances Conkle of Richmond VA and Betty Cliborne of Lacrosse, VA, grandchildren; Kimberly Renee Gallier (Richard) of Appomattox, VA and Tracy Ann Schneider (Eric) of Baldwin, MD, 4 great grandchildren; Jessica and Abby Schneider and Zackery and Brittany Gallier.  She was preceded in death by her two siblings; Louise Cliborne and Jimmy Hall.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Shorter Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 2:00PM at Lacrosse Town Cemetery.
