Elvira “Rita” Rolle, 87 of Rice, VA passed away, Thursday, September 22, 2011 in Charlottesville, VA. She was the wife of the late Arthur F. Rolle, Jr.
She was born in Baltimore, September 2, 1924 to the late Ettor and Mary Poge Mascetti.
Surviving are her son, Arthur F. Rolle, III of Rice, two daughters, Rita Evans of Baltimore, and Mary Ann Collins of St. Augustine, FL, her grandchildren, Arthur IV, Ashley, Mary Catherine, Gary, Woodrow, and Jennifer and many great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 PM, Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville, VA. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 27, 2011 in the chapel at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens in Baltimore.
Shorter Funeral Home of Farmville is serving the family.
