Floyd Higgins

Floyd Harold Higgins, 77 of Farmville, VA passed away on January 28, 2020 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents Holt and Verba Higgins. He is survived by his dear friend Wanda Nash, one brother J.W. Higgins (Sue), one sister Gearldean Higgins Newcomb (Danny), one niece Catherine Higgins, three nephews Brian and Mark Price, Matthew Higgins, three great nieces Morgan Price, Valerie and Gwyneth Thomas.

He served our country in the US Navy and retired from Norfolk & Southern Railroad as a conductor.

A funeral service will be on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home with interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior starting at 1:00PM at the funeral home.
