George Hager Jr.

George Edward Hager Jr. age 70,also known as (Poppop) died Sunday,December 14th. at his home in Charlotte Courthhouse.Va.He was born October 11,1944 in Wilmington,Delaware to George and Reba Reed Hager Sr.                            He is survived by his wife Florence E.Hager ,his sons;George E. Hager III and his wife Maryann,and David C.Hager and partner Jeannine Carrubba.Also Christopher B.Brinkman and Sonja L.Letourneau.His sisters;Delores Minlik,Florence Fry,and Barbara Delcollo.He is also survived by his grand-children;Irenio R.Riggle,Jemmalyn T.Riggle,Jon S.Hager,Ian M. Hager,Harley J.Brinkman and Arianna M.Hager.Two great-grand-children;Irenio R. Riggle Jr. and Elisea G. Riggle.          He was preceded in death by Gloria Parkinson,Lada Provin and Elenore Pavel.George served in the Navy for twenty years.George's life was God,country,and family.A loving husband,father,brother,uncle,grand-father and great-grandfather who knew the true meaning of family.He was a teacher to many,enjoying life and nature.Very soft spoken,his words and actions left lasting impressions of lifes simple lessons to everyone he touched both near and far.Forever loved and missed.
