James Leonard Rosser

James L Rosser, age 86 of Dillman VA. departed this life on Feb. 23 2025 at the Woodland Nursing Center in Farmville, VA.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Gerri Rosser, his 3 children, Deborah Gordon, James R Rosser and Susan Roberts.

Leonard was the grandfather of 12, great grandfather of 29 and great great grandfather of 1.

He is survived by 3 sisters and one brother who proceeded him in death.

He served in the Air National Guard in his younger years and was a sheet metal worker, and a member of Local 100 for 68 years.

His hobbies included fishing, hunting, spending time with his family and he was also a member of St. George Catholic Church of Scottsville, Va.

Memorial services will be held at Shorter Funeral Home on March 19 2025 at 11:00 am. 1905 S Main Street Farmville, Va. 23901.
