James Tipton

James Dan “Danny” Tipton, 54 of Dillwyn, Virginia peacefully passed at

Lynchburg General Hospital, Friday, September 4, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents Louis & Orla Tipton,

brothers Fred Tipton & Max Tipton and sister Revia Lewis.

He is survived by daughter Rebecca Stinson (Steven) of New

Canton; brothers Lattie Tipton, Hubert Tipton (Jessie) of Farmville, Olin

Tipton of Forest; sisters Maggie Tipton, Frances Huddleston (Joe) of

Farmville, Inez Jones (Tom) of Crewe, Mary Ruth Bailey of Mars Hill, NC;

and special friend Ada Young of Lynchburg.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 6, at 2 p.m. at

Concord Baptist Church, Sheppards. In lieu of flowers donations can be

made to Concord Baptist Church at 12053 Francisco Road, Farmville, VA

23901.
