John Chenault

Mr. John Luther Chenault age 65 of Rice, Virginia went home to be with the Lord on Friday May 11, 2012.  He loved operating equipment, and was the owner and operator of John’s Excavating for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, golf  and was a Jeff Gordon fan. He also enjoyed watching the kids play ball. He is survived by his wife Donna Jamerson Chenault; his children, John L. Chenault , Jr., Michael Chenault, Michelle Chenault all of Richmond, VA and Cody Chenault of Crewe, VA; his step-children, Robin Davis (Money) of Rice, VA, Frankie Jamerson (Missy) of Cumberland, VA , Alissa Harland of Salem, VA, Heather Jamerson and Jacob Jamerson both of Rice, VA , Ten Grandchildren and other special people in his life; Danny, Dan, Angie, Ashley, Chippy and his faithful pet Sami. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther H. and Norma I. Chenault, brother William, sister Martha and son Herbert Shawn.  A Memorial Service will be conducted 7:00 P.M. Monday May 14, 2012 at the Shorter Funeral Home of Farmville, VA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. till time of Service at the funeral home.
