Joseph Kyle Baldwin

Joseph Kyle Baldwin, 98 of Rice, VA passed away on February 11, 2025. A World War II veteran he served in the US Navy in the China Sea. After the war he returned to Rice where he raised tobacco crop. He rejoined the Navy the next year and retired in 1974 with the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer.

Mr Baldwin was preceded in death by his parents, sister, four brothers and his youngest son Andy Baldwin.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Pat and 7 children; Richard Baldwin (Trish), Kay Woosley, Tracy Stephens (Mark), Ronald Baldwin (Anne), Kimberly Davis (Ted), Leroy Kirk and Pam Hite.

Also surviving are 12 grandchildren; Annick, Stephen, and Preston Baldwin, Jamie and Jonathan Woosley, Kelley Davis, Max Baldwin, Bradley and Kyle Davis and Lionel, Dominique and Kyrann Hite.
