Laura Harris

Laura Bonada Harris, 79 of Farmville passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014.  As per her wishes she was able to pass away at home with her family beside her.  She was born February 15, 1935 to the late Cleophas Bishop and Robbie Lee Fox Bishop.  She worked as a seamstress at Courtland Manufacturing.

She is survived by her husband, Cleveland Harris, her children, Richard Harris (Terry) of Buckingham and Martha H. Jones (Robert) of Louisa.  Also surviving are her sisters, Ola Mae Wilkerson (Roy) of Crewe, Annabelle Davis (Durwood) of Richmond, Christine Austin of Crewe and Nell Butler of Richmond; four grandchildren, Cameron Rhew, Robby Jones, Jacob Harris and Casey Reynolds and one great grandchild, Ayden Rhew.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 11:00am at the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home with interment to follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens.  Family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00am until time of service at the funeral home.
