Lt. CMDR Lillie Mae Frank, 83, of Rice, died Friday, July 24, 2009 in Burkeville.

Born May 19, 1926 in Amelia County, she was the daughter of the late George Henry and Elizabeth A. Rieman Frank.

She was retired as a Lieutenant Commander with the US Navy.

She is survived by her sister, Estelle Glaze Brook of Fredericksburg and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately.
