Margaret Johnson

Margaret Denton Johnson, 83, of Farmville passed away, Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in Farmville. She was the widow of Clyde Johnson

Born in Charlotte County, December 29, 2928, She was the daughter of the late Martin L. and Lola Elizabeth Shepard Denton.  She was retired as a Registered Nurse with Southside Community Hospital.

Surviving are her children: Vickie Lee of Buckingham,  Ann Mason of Chesterfield, Mike Johnson of Farmville, David Johnson of Buckingham and Robert Johnson of Kansas City, MO, brothers, Ted Denton of Raleigh, NC, and Arthur Denton of Colonial Heights, sisters, Dora Snotherly of North Carolina and Helen Garnett of Drakes Branch, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 9, 2012 in Concord Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
