Margaret Jordan

Margaret Pendergraph Jordan died peacefully at The Woodland in Farmville on October 6, 2014. She was born on April 29, 1922 in Swepsonville, NC to the late Curtis Paul and Penie Elizabeth Pendergraph. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Gilmer”NG” Jordan Jr. of Farmville. She is survived by daughters, Brenda Jordan (Gilbert) Mattox of Omaha, NE and Elizabeth Irene Jordan (Joseph) Anzalone of Boca Raton, FL; sisters, Ina P. Ewan of Coral Springs, FL, Sallie P. Glisson of St Petersburg, FL and brother, Gordon S. Pendergraph of Greensboro, NC. five grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren.

She was a long time resident of Farmville and a charter member of Worsham Baptist Church in Farmville. Margaret retired from Fairfax County Public Schools food service after nineteen years employment.

A funeral service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, October 11, 2014 in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home with interment to follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Friday evening October 10, 2014 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Shorter Funeral Home.
