Nina Bryant Ford, 100, of Cumberland passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie L. Ford and son, Ernest W. Ford.
She is survived by her children, Peggy Elrod (Ted) of Florida, Dorothy Waid (Jim) of Illinois, Stuart Ford (Marie) of Chester and Jackie Ford (Della) of Cumberland, sister, Amanda Watson of Cumberland, fourteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM , Wednesday, August 31, 2011 in the chapel of the Shorter Funeral Home of Farmville with interment following in the Cartersville Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
