Sallie Waddell Vanover, 77 of Meherrin Va passed away on June 30, 2020 in Keysville Va. Sallie was born to Anne Lee & Joe Ben Waddell on March 25,1943. Sallie is processed in death by her Great-Grandson Ethan Jamerson. Sallie is survived by her husband John Harrison Vanover Jr, Her seven children Anne Caraveo, Robert Mitchell Jr, Darlene Jamerson (Henry), Barbara Riddle (Bobby), Mark Mitchell (Janet), Katherine Jamerson (Chuck), Terry Mitchell (Alice), Lillie Moore (Sister), 14 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren & 2 Great Great Grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at 2:00PM in Douglas Presbyterian Church. Pastor William Strong officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 3, 2020 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM in Shorter Funeral Home. Shorter Funeral Home is serving the family.
