Mrs. Virginia Latham Jamerson, 74 of Cumberland passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013 in Chester, VA. She was born May 23, 1939 in Blount Co., TN to the late Fred and Roxie Teethateller Latham. She was the wife of Seymour Jamerson Jr. (the vegetable man).
She is survived by her husband, her daughter, Sherri J. Thompson of Chester, brothers, Ray Latham of Skinquarter and Larry Latham of Cumberland and his two grandchildren, Amandalee and Rachel Thompson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret Ann Jamerson and her brothers, Max and Clay Latham.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2013 1:00pm at Payne United Methodist Church in Cumberland with interment to follow at Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00-1:00pm at Payne United Methodist Church.
