Virginia Clabo

Virginia Roach Clabo passed away on June 16, 2016. She was born, September 3rd, 1926 in Blaine Tennessee, one of nine children of Eliza and Wallace Roach. She is survived by a sister Betty Cruze of Knoxville,Tenn.   She was the widow of Armalee Clabo of Farmville,VA.They had three children: JoAnn  (Bobby) Showalter of Farmville, Earlene (Ray) Simpson of Sarasota, Florida and Mike (Connie) Clabo of Farmville, Va. Four grandchildren: Todd Clabo, LeeAnn Schock, Zack Simpson, and Will Showalter. Nine great grandchildren: Sabrena Simpson, Leah Simpson, Justin Clabo, Matthew Clabo, Grayson Clabo, Kinsley Showalter, Tessa Showalter, Logan Schock and Mattie Schock. Other survivors are sisters-in-laws: Marjorie Galyon, Louise Motley, Edna Wood. brothers-in-laws: Howard Clabough and David Wallwork. Also numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, June 19th, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Shorter Funeral Home in Farmville with services at Concord Baptist Church in Sheppards, Va. (Buckingham County) on Monday, June 20th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to Concord Baptist Church (PO Box 37, Prospect, VA 23960) where she was a member for over sixty years.
