William Wilson

William D. Wilson, 66, of Meherrin, VA passed away, Monday, Oct. 25, 2010 at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Carol, three daughters, Ann Zeigler of Greesboro, NC, Patty Etheridge (Chuck) of Woolwich Township, NJ and Angie Jillson (David) of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, one brother, James S. Wilson of Benjamin Franklin Township, NJ and five grandchildren: Steven Simpson, Chris Simpson, Anthony Etheridge, Brittany Jillson and Samantha Jillson.

Mr. Wilson was born in East Orange, NJ, Nov. 15, 1943 to the late James S. and Janet Doig Wilson. He made his career as a jet mechanic with the US Air Force, 177th Fighter Group and was a volunteer with the Laureldale Volunteer Fire Company.

A graveside committal will be held privately at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia, VA.
